Hero Club/Gurjan is a premium product from the house of Hero Ply Industries. It is made of 100% Gurjan wood and bonded with an unextended Phenol Formaldehyde resin of BWP grade. Each of its veneer layers is treated with preservatives and is glueline protected to ensure complete protection from insects. This plywood is also boiling water proof bearing a density of 900 Kg/m3. Besides having a higher face thickness, all veneer layers have a uniform thickness construction .Gurjan is the most unique and high density timber with natural bonding tendency and is termite and borer proof. It is reputed as a key timber species in making strong plywood. High density in woods leads to increased load bearing capacity. Hence the core and face veneers of the Gurjan wood increases the durability of the products. It has been fully treated with preservatives using organic chemicals. Hero BWP Grade Marine Plywood is made from 100% hardwood timber and is bonded with undiluted Phenol Formaldehyde (PF) resins which are processed through high temperature and pressure to keep the bonding intact even after 72hours of boiling. All veneers are treated with preservatives and an additional treatment on glue line is performed with highly durable preservatives. The manufactured BWP quality plywood is given chemical treatment in a Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPT) process. The result is a Boiling Waterproof Plywood that is highly resistant to attacks from all types of micro organisms and extremely severe weather conditions.
